Evergreen Valley believes that a sports program can benefit junior
high students in many ways that are valuable to both the student and to
our society:
- Develop scholarship, health, strength, agility, coordination skills, recreational interests, physical fitness and habits of clean living
- Learn sportsmanship, fair play, honesty and respect for rules and authority
- Develop qualities of cooperation, teamwork, competition, leadership, initiative, responsibility, subordination of self to the welfare of the team and school, self-respect, courtesy for others, perseverance and courage
- Have fun with fellow students and visiting teams

2014 1st All-League HonorsTop of Page
Congratulations to Annanya Raghavan, William Wang, and Lorraine Jessel for making the BVAL All-League First Team! They were recognized at the BVAL Finals Tournament after our girls game on Friday at Independence HS.
Annanya received Senior of the Year. Lorraine was Junior of the Year, and Will made 1st Team All-League Honors. This is a great feat for these students from all of the hard work they've put in for the very long winter season and throughout their athletic years of participation.
Please congratulate them when you see 'em around campus this week.
